Students will be taking the Partnership for Assessment of College and Career Readiness (PARCC) End of Year (EOY) assessment. Students should arrive at school between 7:20 and 7:50. A healthy hot breakfast will be provided for each student. We urge you to make every effort to ensure that your child attends school and arrives on time each day of testing.
If there is an emergency, or if your child is too ill to attend school on the dates listed above, please call the Amerigo A. Anastasia School at 732-571-3396 to report your child’s absence to the main office.
Partnership for Assessment of College and Career Readiness (PARCC) is a highly secure state assessment. Due to test security, cell phones and any other electronic devices will not be permitted in the testing sites on the days of testing. It is strongly recommended that students do not bring cell phones or electronic devices to school. If your child brings a cell phone to school, it will be collected by the Test Administrator, turned off, and returned to your child at the end of the day. If a student does not turn in his/her cell phone prior to testing and is found with the cell phone in his/her possession during or after the test administration, that student’s exam will be voided and he/she will be removed from the testing site. Upon removal from the testing site, the cell phone will be checked by an administrator for messages and/or pictures. A voided exam will not be counted.
